Overview

Brodovitch was art director of Harpers's Bazaar from 1938-1954 and revolutionised magazines with his stylish use of photography. In Ballet he photographed ballet companies capturing perfectly the movement and feeling of rehearsal and performance. Using 35mm and eschwing "proper photography" he created a dynamic and incredibly influential book. 

This new facsimile edition is part of Errata Editions Books on Books, a series dedicated to making rare or out of print books accessible to students and photobook enthusiasts.
