This lovely slim book explores the landscape and mythology of the American South through the work of six photographers: Walker Evans, William Eggleston, William Christenberry, Carrie Mae Weems, Alec Soth and Susan Lipper.

Published to coincide with the exhibition Myth, Manners and Memory curated by Photoworks at the De La Warr Pavilion until 3 Januray 2011.
