Film-maker Michael Almereyda spent a year going through William Eggleston’s archives. The result is For Now, a collection of previously unseen photographs spanning four decades.

The pictures are typical Eggleston; the ordinary made extraordinary, unsettling with vivid colour. Untypically for Eggleston the images concentrate on family and friends from Tennessee.

For Now is published by Twin Palms New Mexico and is printed and produced to their usual excellent standards.
